We recently completed the replacement of the existing vented hot water system at Dallam Boarding House Sports Hall, upgrading the facility to a modern unvented hot water solution.

The project was designed to improve the existing system while providing a more efficient and reliable hot water arrangement for the sports hall. Our team managed the works from design through to installation, testing and commissioning.

The project included:

Removal of the existing cold water storage tank and hot water calorifier
Installation of new unvented water heaters, sized by our design team in accordance with CIBSE Guide G
Installation of new cold water pipework to serve the new hot water heaters
Installation of new power supplies to each water heater from the existing distribution board
Full testing, commissioning and chlorination of the new system

Careful planning and coordination throughout the works helped ensure the new system was installed safely and correctly, with all necessary testing and commissioning completed before handover.
