Another important milestone has been reached at Southport Formby District General Hospital, with Phase 1 of the works now successfully completed and handed over.
Working alongside Warden Construction Ltd, our team has delivered a comprehensive mechanical services package across the project, covering a range of systems essential to the operation of the facility.
The mechanical works included:
- Ventilation systems
- LTHW and chilled water services to fan coil units
- Fan coil units
- Sanitary ware
- Domestic hot and cold water services
- Medical gas systems, including oxygen and Medi-Vac
- Air conditioning
- Dedicated AC works within the UPS room
Delivering a broad mechanical package within a hospital environment requires careful planning and close coordination throughout. With multiple services being installed and coordinated alongside the wider construction works, maintaining clear communication between the project teams has been essential to keeping the programme moving.
Reaching the completion and handover of Phase 1 is a great achievement for everyone involved. It reflects the hard work of our site team and the wider supply chain, as well as the strong collaboration maintained throughout the project.
