We’re delighted to celebrate a fantastic achievement for Terry Biggs, who has been recognised with Morgan Sindall Construction’s July Project Monthly Safety Award for his work on the University of Salford Acoustic Building project. 👏
The award recognises Terry’s commitment to improving safety on site and, in particular, his initiative in introducing the Uni Strut Slayer — a portable tool designed to make working with Unistrut safer and more efficient.
The tool allows Unistrut to be cropped without creating noise, sparks or a sharp edge, helping to reduce some of the potential risks associated with traditional cutting methods while making the task more practical for those working on site.
It’s a great example of how looking at everyday tasks differently and finding practical solutions can make a genuine difference to site safety.
At CM Oxendale, we’re proud of our teams for taking an active approach to improving the way we work and for continually looking for opportunities to make our sites safer for everyone.
👏 Well done, Terry! Your recognition is thoroughly deserved, and it’s fantastic to see your initiative highlighted by the wider project team.
A huge thank you also to Morgan Sindall Construction for recognising Terry’s contribution and for continuing to promote and celebrate positive safety initiatives across the project.
Great work, Terry — a brilliant example of putting safety first! 🏆👏
