Oaklands Hospital, Salford

CM Oxendale Ltd carried out the full mechanical design and installation to Oaklands Hospital, this included the construction of a new operating theatre, associated ventilation and boiler plant, run around coils for heat recovery. 1st and 2nd stage recovery areas, with pressure regimes inplace inline with HTM requirements.

Medical gases and auto-changeover systems were also installed, along with alarm panels located in the reception area for monitoring of systems.

The project was carried out over 15 months, over 7 phases to maintain the hospital running capacity at 100% whilst the work were carried out, this included a changeover of the boiler plant overnight.
