Junior Mechanical Project Manager (Yorkshire – Barnsley)

Are you working in mechanical engineering, construction, building services or on site and ready for your next step? You do not need to be an experienced Project Manager. We will support you to learn the role, build your confidence and take on more responsibility as you develop.

THE ROLE

  • Manage mechanical projects from mobilisationthrough to completion and handover.
  • Assist with coordinating labour, subcontractors, suppliers and project programmes.
  • Support procurement, project cost tracking and project reporting.
  • Attend site and client meetings and help keep actions and information on track.
  • Take increasing responsibility for projects and work packages as your experience develops.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Some experience in mechanical engineering, construction, building services or a site-based role is useful.
  • Aninterest in HVAC, heating, plumbing and mechanical building services.
  • Strong communication andorganisationalskills, along with a keen eyeto detail.
  • A practical, proactive attitude and the confidence to ask questions and learn.
  • Ambition to develop into a Mechanical Project Manager.
